Configure Application Settings per Website

In this section, you can configure the storefront Web API feature availability for the storefront for the particular website. By default, the API feature is disabled.

  1. Navigate to System > Websites in the main menu.

  2. For the necessary website, hover over the More Options menu to the right and click to start editing the configuration.

  3. Select System Configuration > General Setup > Application Settings in the menu to the left.

    Note

    For faster navigation between the configuration menu sections, use Quick Search.

  4. Clear the Use Organization check box to change the organization-wide setting.

  5. In the Web API section, select whether to enable or disable the storefront API feature for your application by setting the Enable Storefront API option.

    Note

    The back-office API feature can be toggled on the global and organization levels, while the storefront API configuration is available on three levels - globally, per organization, and per website.

  6. Click Save Settings.
